Greenwood Homes is delighted to announce the granting of Planning Permission for 8 new two bedroom Apartments at the company’s second site, also on Dereham Road, Norwich. The company has worked hard over 10 months with A Squared Architects, Consultants and local planners to come up with a scheme that follows planning guidelines. Mark Ashhurst BA a Director at A Squared Architects commented ‘it has been great to work on this project with Greenwood Homes and look forward to seeing the scheme through to completion in the near future’

Greenwood Homes are pleased to announce the completion and handover to Wherry Housing Association of what is to be known as Picturehouse Court a development of 21 Apartments. Managing Director Andy Fisher commented ‘we are delighted to complete this first project well ahead of time with fantastic support from our Main Contractor Pentaco Construction’

Contruction is progressing well at The Point with the main structure now fully erected and internal work is progressing well. John Overall Project Manager for Pentaco Construction main contractor for the development commented ‘we are well ahead of schedule and things are going extremely well. We are contracted to finish in January 2009, but I am confident we will be able to hand over the building to Greenwood’s clients before the end of the year’ |
31st December 2007 - Excellent progress at The Point
Construction work has started well at Greenwood Homes first major development of 21 apartments and the site is now starting to take shape ahead of the erection of a Timber Frame in Mid January 2008.

14th November 07 - Greenwood HOMES is pleased to announce commencement of construction at its first site The Point in Norwich. Managing Director Andy Fisher commented ‘This is a really important step in our Company’s development and we are all excited about growing Greenwood HOMES into a leading local Developer over the next few years’. Chris Varvel, Director of Pentaco Construction Ltd appointed as main contractor for the scheme also commented ‘ As we continue to grow our business we are looking to work on more and more prominent residential schemes such as this and are delighted to be involved right at the start of Greenwood HOMES Limited’s business development’
13th July 07 - Greenwood HOMES has agreed to purchase another site on the outskirts of Norwich subject to achieving satisfactory planning between 6 and 9 apartments. Andy Fisher, Managing Director commented 'the purchase of this second site is an important step in the development of the company and we will be working hard with our architects on this project Feilden & Mawson to achieve the planning permission we require to go ahead with this project'.
1st June 07 - Greenwood HOMES has now appointed Lovewell Blake as the company's accountants. Chris Varvell, Finance Director, commented 'as we start to expand we felt it was important to link up with a really good local firm that could guide us in our development. Lovewell Blake fit the bill perfectly'.
26th April 07 - We are pleased to report that planning permission was today granted for 21 new apartments at 557 Dereham Road, Norwich. The design process will now begin in earnest with commencement of construction planned for late summer 2007 with completion expected in summer 2008. |
